It is our pleasure to invite you and your family to the Third Annual ICNEF Empty Bowls Event on January 10, 2014 at University of North Florida Student Union Ballroom from 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM. A simple meal of soup and bread will be served for the guests who will take home a handcrafted bowl to remind them of the crisis of hunger in the community. Entertainment will be provided. Our new Imam Shamu Shamudeen will be speaking at the event, inshaAllah. All funds raised from the event will be donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank to fight hunger in Jacksonville. Last year ICNEF was listed as the second largest donor at the Second Harvest Annual Empty Bowls Luncheon. We are hoping that this year, with your help, we can match or exceed last year’s contribution. Please donate generously for this noble cause.
