The prominent scholar Dr. Reda Bedeir is with us as a Visiting Scholar for the next two months, insha Allah. During his stay here, Dr. Bedeir will conduct educational programs, deliver Khutbas on Fridays and at the Salatul Eid-al-Fitr, insha Allah.

Dr. Bedeir received a Ph.D. in Linguistics & Islamic Studies in 2000 from Al-Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt, where he is currently an Associate Professor of Linguistics and Islamic Studies. Prior to 2004, he taught at several institutions in Egypt, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia. In 2004-2005, he was a Visiting Professor and Instructor at the Department of Religion and Inter-disciplinary Studies at the Wake Forest University in North Carolina. From 2006 to 2012, he taught at several institutions in Canada.
We are indeed honored to have Dr. Bedeir among us during the Blessed Month of Ramadan. I encourage all of us to attend as many of his programs as possible.
Here are the initial programs that he will conduct during his stay.
